Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. If you go to this restaurant make sure you are dining with people you enjoy because this is NOT going to be a quick meal. Dinner was tasty BUT we waited over 2 hours for it to arrive. ALSO, bring your own space heater. The staff will politely decline your request to tickle the thermostat buttons. Cold cold cold!

Went there tonight and a new bartender again. She asked if we wanted old fashioned's but didn't ask if we want rail brandy or a different which is what everyone else has done. I'm also used to mettled orange rind in it which I had here which is why I came back in the first place, didn't happen and had rail brandy. Was ok at best. We ordered shrimp scampi and scallop pasta. Shrimp scampi was shrimp with cherry tomatoes soaked in lemon juice. So much lem juice you couldn't eat it. The scallop pasta had veggies and small scallops. The sauce had no flavor and so much grease it left film in my mouth. Won't be back for long time. This place keeps going downhill. For $50 I can go a bunch of other places.

Went there for thanksgiving. Absolutely horrible. Fake potatoes, cut up deli looking turkey,dry deserts, no pumpkin pie. I was really excited not to cook this year. Huge waste of $90.

Overly pleased with the meal we just had. They delivered to our room at a major hotel in Elkhart Lake. We had Lasagna, Margherita pizza, Deluxe pizza, cesar salad, meatball sub and everyone was happy. Pizza's were fresh, thin crust and not greasy. Lasagna was flavorful. Meatball sub had great balls and fennel. We plan to add this to our annual Elkhart routine. And the staff on the phone was very nice.

We are frequently in Elkhart Lake and decided to stop-in with our two kids. We understood from a server that it had opened a few months prior to our visit. The restaurant is clean and crisp. The ceiling is covered in tree branches and Italian lights creating a pleasant atmosphere. It has a large banquet room and medium sized bar. As I guess you would expect from a pizza place, the menu is extremely limited to two areas: pasta and pizza. Besides a ton of pizza and pasta, there are two salads, two sandwiches and a steak. Our kids got the grilled pepperoni pizza, which was very good. My wife and I ordered the Sicilian Ribeye Steak, medium. Here is where it gets confusing. The menu description mentions a grilled steak with spices. When the steak arrived we were surprised to learn that it was covered with batter or fully encrusted in bread crumbs (could not tell which), deep fried (again could not tell but it seemed fried) and covered in marinara sauce and cheese. Oh, and it was literally raw. We looked at each other and figured we must have ordered the wrong item. We sent it back and ended up getting a pretty good steak. We checked the menu and still to this day have no idea where that covered and fried steak came from as it is nowhere to be found on the menu nor was it a special. We would go back for the pizza (did not try the pasta). I gave this review three stars, not solely due to the steak issue but primarily because the menu is so extremely limited. If you want anything but pizza or pasta or want something remotely healthy you will struggle.

Great food. Nice facility. Good menu. Everything that we had was delicious. Try the soup, cheesy garlic bread and mac & cheese (they are all great starters; you could even make them into a lunch). Our visit was just a few weeks after they first opened. Very few people had discovered it yet. Only one other table was in use during the entire time we were there for lunch. Bottom line: What a gem! We'll be back soon!!!
